Congress Leads in 3 Major States. Regional Parties Triumph in Mizoram and Telangana
After a thrilling battle in all the constituencies, the vote counting is finally coming to an end. Some are surprised by the results while some were already expecting something similar. The major states which saw an extreme battle between the BJP and Congress are Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. From these 3, a clear sweep by Congress is seen in Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh, whereas a close combat is still being observed in Madhya Pradesh. As for Telangana and Mizoram, the regional parties, from the start were leading the charts with an exceptional margin. So, have a look at the breakdown in all the states.
Rajasthan
The track record of alternate governments has been maintained in the state, giving Congress a comfortable win. The dissatisfaction that the people of Rajasthan had for the current CM Ms. Vasundhara Raje can be clearly seen in the results. Mr. Sachin Pilot and Mr. Ashok Gehlot the two major players of the Congress party raised the victory flag in their respective constituencies with a great margin. Ms. Vasundhara Raje has retained the position in the Jhalrapatan constituency. A wave of enjoyment is seen among all the candidates and below is the most recent count.

Telangana
The state gave a complete majority to, Telangana Rasthra Samithi for another tenure. In 2014 the seats were 63, but this time the seats have increased to 87. Congress was the runner up with 19 seats in hand and BJP was not even in the picture with 1 seat in hand.

Mizoram
