ICICI Prudential AMC (Asset Management Company) has issued an essential update to its Statement of Additional Information (SAI) for ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund. They are announcing a fresh update to the ICICI Prudential AMC shareholding pattern following an Offer for Sale (OFS) by Prudential Corporation Holdings during the AMC's blockbuster Initial Public Offering (IPO).
This shift took effect on December 19, 2025, right after the IPO wrapped up. Here is the breakdown of the revised ICICI Prudential AMC shareholding pattern:

There is no change in control of the AMC, as per SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulations, 1996. The fund house will adjust the SAI accordingly, but all other aspects remain unchanged. "This Notice-cum-Addendum is now part of the SAI and will be updated as needed," the AMC confirmed.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund Eyes Specialised Investment Funds (SIF) with New Draft Papers
In other exciting developments, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund has filed draft papers with SEBI to launch into the hot new Specialised Investment Funds (SIF) arena via its iSIF platform. This move targets high-net-worth folks with a steep minimum investment of Rs 10 lakh.
They are rolling out two strategies:
- iSIF Equity Ex-Top100 Long-Short Fund: An open-ended equity play benchmarked to Nifty 500 TRI.
- iSIF Hybrid Long-Short Fund: An interval scheme tied to CRISIL Hybrid 50+50 Moderate Index.
Both will be available at an NFO price of Rs 10 per unit. There is no entry fee, but there is a 1% exit fee if you redeem within 12 months. Each fund aims to raise at least Rs 10 crore, pending approval from SEBI.
ICICI Prudential AMC IPO Smashes Records on Debut
The AMC's IPO was a massive hit, subscribed 39.17 times on the final bidding day (December 16, 2025). Institutional investors fueled the interest in this issue, which is worth Rs 10,602.65 crores and is priced between Rs 2,061 and Rs 2,165 per share.
Post-listing, ICICI Prudential AMC's share price joined the ranks of public asset managers like HDFC AMC, UTI AMC, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC, Shriram AMC and Nippon Life India Asset Management. It marks the fifth ICICI Group company to list, following ICICI Bank, ICICI Prudential Life, ICICI Lombard and ICICI Securities.
